ट्रेवल एजेंट की फ़ाइल क्लियर करने के एवज में 10 हज़ार रुपए की रिश्वत लेते स्टेट विजिलेंस टीम ने आज जालंधर के थाना भार्गव कैम्प के SHO इंस्पेक्टर गुरदेव सिंह को रंगे हाथ काबू किया
जानकारी के मुताबिक विजीलैंस को शिकायत मिली थी कि
थाना प्रभारी द्वारा ट्रैवल एजैसी संबंधी रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव देने के
लिए 10 हज़ार रूपए की रिश्वत मांगी गई है। शिकायत मिलने
पर विजीलैंस टीम ने ट्रैप लगाया। विजीलैंस के एस.एस.पी.
दिलजिन्द्र सिंह ढिल्लों के नेतृत्व में डी.एस.पी. दलबीर सिंह व
उनकी टीम ने देर शाम थाना भार्गव कैंप में रेड की और
एस.एच.ओ. गुरदेव सिंह को रिश्वत लेते रंगे हाथों काबू कर
लिया। थाना भार्गव कैंप में विजीलैंस की रेड से कमिश्नरेट पुलिस
में हड़कंप मच गया है। विजीलैंस टीम रिश्वतखोर एस.एच.ओ.
को काबू करके विजीलैंस थाना ले जा रही है।
जानकारी मिली है कि एस.एच.ओ. गुरदेव सिंह ने न्यू माडल
हाऊस में रहने वाले दलजिन्द्र सिंह से 10 हज़ार रूपए रिश्वत
ली। पता चला है कि दलजिन्द्र सिंह आर्मी से रिटायर्ड है और अब
वे ट्रैवल एजैसी खोलना चाहता था। उसकी वैरीफिकेशन रिपोर्ट
पॉजिटिव देने के एवज़ में रिश्वत की मांग की गई। और आज देर
शाम एस.एच.ओ. 10 हज़ार रूपए रिश्वत लेते रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार
कर लिया गया।

*Complaintant*: Daljinder Singh R/O Village Nangal Sohal, PS Ramdass, Distt Amritsar, Now resident of House No 496, New Model House, Jalandhar
*Suspect*: Insp Gurdev Singh , SHO, PS Bhargocamp, Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar
*Demand* : ₹ 10,000/-
*Motive*: Complaintant is a retired Technician from Indian Army & after retirement he wants to start a Travel agency in the Jurisdiction of PS Bhargocamp. Police verification was required to get the Permission to run a travel agency. For that, Complaintant has applied it with Distt administration. Police of Bhargocamp PS initially denied his request and nagative report was sent by IO/ SI Balbir Kumar to SHO ( Arrested) , who further sent it to Licensing branch Commissionerate Jal. After a along delay in matter, Complaintant enquired himself and came to khow by IO SI Balbir Kumar that, his( Complaintant) application was denied , that he didn’t asked SHO for bribe money , Which was of ₹ 10,000/- as per this case of verification .
After that, Complainant has again requested SHO to reconsider his application , being a genuine case. SHO has also demanded the same bribe money for favourable report as fresh .
Insp Gurdev Singh has called the verification file back to PS from Arm Licensing branch( dealing hand lal chand , Police Commissionerate Jalandhar is also mixed up SHO & returned the verified report, by hand of Complaintant) .
*Today , SHO/ Insp Gurdev Singh has accepted tainted bribe money of ₹ 10,000/- and caught red handed in the presence of Govt Witnesses. Tainted Money recovered from the worn uniform Pant of SHO.
